Z Smith - SRS 9/25

I'm continuing reading the book, "A Child Called It" by Dave Pelzer. At times the book is very hard to stop reading because the story is very hard to imagine that anyone could ever live through or like this. I'm reading about the abuse that resulted in a broken arm for David. His family would take camping trips all together but then all of a sudden begain leaving David with family and going without him. It's hard to understand the feeling of no one loving you like that. One time this mother punished (abused) David by burning him on the stove. I cannot imagine going through that. David was forced to wear dirty old clothes to school. His life was always in shame. I feel so sorry for the pain David had to suffer.
